Pisica cu papion/ The cat with bow tie
Sâmbătă, Februarie 28th, 2009Reminds me that there’s time to grow"

I’m not a morning person so waking up every morning to go to work is a nightmare most of the time. The first three things that go through my mind are: “Why God, why?”, “Am I going to do this all my life?” and “I’m going to sleep until noon on Saturday and Sunday”. I’m gong through a whole range of emotions (from rebellion to optimism) and choosing the right clothes helps me a lot. Don’t get me wrong – my new job is pretty ok and quite relaxing but I hate the waking early part of it. That morning I was probably inspired by the outfits that the flight attendants were wearing during the 70’s – and here you have the scarf made into a bow. The light yellow cat t-shirt always cheers me up so I wore it underneath a cream-colored cardigan. I also used a belt – no surprises here made by Sara (actually she just upgraded the initial belt by adding colored pieces of fabric on its surface), a simple skirt and dark purple tights. The other pictures are another variation on the cream-colored cardigan theme (a little bit conventional because I was still testing my work environment). One of the most important things for me is the liberty to wear whatever I want at my job, I’m not a big fan of the business attire at list not the conventional type: skirt and coat from the same fabric, classic pants, all black with the white skirt, little or none when it comes to accessories, I like to play with clothes and where is the fun in that? I think my spirit would be crushed if I had to wear an uniform.
How about you, can you go to work dress as you wish or do you have a dressing code?
